چکیده
In this work, aminotriazole-modified microcrystalline cellulose microsphere (3-ATAR) containing an abundant nitrogen content as promising adsorbent was prepared via a radiation grafting method for the selective recovery ReO4- in presence of UO22+ acidic solution. A series batch and column adsorption experiments including monocomponent binary systems were designed evaluating separation performance Re(VII) onto 3-ATAR. The 3-ATAR exhibited good capacity (max 146.4 mg·g-1) rapid rate, with equilibrium time 45 min. solution, high selectivity coefficients (?Re/M) indicated that could separate recover from U(VI) other metal ions (Cu(II), Cr(III), Ni(II), Zn(II)). particular, it found Re almost unaffected U/Re-bearing solutions no matter how much changed. experiment, when concentration 40 times higher than Re(VII), manifested over synthetic uranium ore leachate. This work demonstrated provide efficient, selectively, sustainable, industrially feasible way to be recovered leachate prospective sources. Graphical abstract

Removal of methylene blue from aqueous solutions using modified clay
Introduction: Discharging of industrial colored wastewaters especially into aqueous environments can cause adverse effects on aquatic life due to their toxic natures. In this study, montmorillonite modified by hexadecyltrimethyl ammonium bromide (HDTMA-Mt) was used for the adsorption of methylene blue (MB). Materials and Methods: The influence of surfactant loading rate, contact time, pH, adso...
متن کاملPebax-Modified Cellulose Acetate Membrane for CO2/N2 Separation
Carbon dioxide (CO2) release from the exhaust gas streams of power plants that burn fossil fuels contributes the most emission of this gas, which includes more than half of the greenhouse effects. Thus, the separation of CO2 from exhaust gases is one of the main environmental concerns. Membrane technology, due to many advantages, has attracted many research attentions among the various gas sepa...
متن کاملRemoval of H2S and Mercaptan from Outlet Gases of Kermanshah Refinery Using Modified Adsorbents (Bentonite and Sludge)
In this work, adsorbents, namely bentonite and sludge, modified by iron and copper were used to remove the H2S and mercaptan from Kermanshah refinery. The used adsorbents are inexpensive materials, which substantially decrease the operational costs. The structure of the adsorbents was analyzed using scanning electron microscope (SEM) and energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX). Th...
متن کاملSeparation of Chromium (vi) from Aqueous Solutions by Cellulose Modified with D-glucose and Quaternary Ammonium Groups
A novel method for D-glucose (D-Glu) and trimethylammonium chloride immobilization onto the surface of cellulose powder was studied. Cellulose powder was grafted with vinyl monomer glycidyl methacrylate (GMA), using ceric ammonium nitrate as an initiator, and further derived with quaternary ammonium groups to build the D-GluN-type cellulose absorbent (Cell-g-GMA-D-GluN). Epoxy cellulose was fou...
متن کاملSeparation and Recovery of Platinum by Magnetic Coreshell Nanostructures Modified with N-(2-aminoethyl)-3- aminopropyltrimethoxysilane
In this paper, Fe3 O4 @SiO2 core/shell magnetic nanostructure has been synthesized and modified by N-(2-aminoethyl)-3-aminopropyltrimethoxysilane (AEAPTMS). Fe3 O4 @SiO2 was used as a novel adsorbent for separation of hexachloroplatinic acid. X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and FT-IR technique were used to characterize morphologies and surface texturing of these ads...
